VIP OPTION

What is the VIP option?

                For a fee of $30, we organize your race number, swim cap, goodie bag, timing chip and T-shirt and have them available for you on the morning of the race. You will report to the VIP table, sign your waiver and then proceed to your special area in the transition area in your assigned spot.  You do not need to attend the pre-race expo the day before the race.

What is the last day that I can sign up for the VIP option?

                The last day that you can register with the VIP option or add the VIP option is the Wednesday before the day of the race, (before 1:30 pm).

If I already registered and I want to add the VIP option, how do I do so?

                If you are already registered and you want to add the VIP option, you will need to call the office at 858.268.1250 and we can add the option for you. All we need is your first and last name. If you registered online, the additional fee will be charged to the card that you paid with on ACTIVE. If you mailed in your registration, you will need to mail a check into the office for the additional fee.

If I signed up for the VIP option, can I still go to the expo the day before to pick up my packet?

                If you have signed up for the VIP option and you still want to attend the expo, you will only be able to pick up your VIP bag the last hour of the expo. If you show up before the last hour of the expo, you will not be able to receive your race materials.

Can I pay for a special spot in the transition area without signing up for the VIP option?

                The VIP option is the only way to have your spot reserved in the transition area with your name on the bike rack.
